More Miles, More Smiles!

More Miles, More Smiles!

Lace up... it’s almost time to run for a merrier holiday season!

This holiday season, locally loved running crews Run For It & Sexy Pace Sundays are teaming up with FirstLight Federal Credit Union to spark joy, hope, and a whole lot of miles for the kids and families of the El Paso Children’s Hospital. Together, they’re launching and hosting a heartwarming, high-energy event on December 13, 2025, named More Miles, More Smiles.

Born from the vision of running club co-founder Thomas and his team, More Miles, More Smiles is not your average charity run. It’s a rallying of El Paso’s running community to turn every step into something meaningful. Here’s how it works: Over 90 of the city’s strongest runners will hit the pavement for one powerful day. For every mile logged, FirstLight Federal Credit Union donates $1—fueling a mission where grit meets giving.

Runners of all ages and paces will take on a 25-mile challenge, with the option to keep pushing as far as their hearts (and legs!) can go. Because in this event, every extra mile truly brings extra smiles.

All funds raised will go directly toward purchasing toys and vital necessities for children and families at El Paso Children’s Hospital, bringing holiday magic to more than 250 families. It’s community, compassion, and endurance wrapped into one unforgettable celebration.

A heartfelt thank you to all the runners who will be participating in this run:
