El Paso Middle School and High School students are given fictitious money at the beginning of the school semester and are asked to invest in a mock version of the Stock Market using factual data from the Stock Market as it fluctuates with our real time economy. At the end of each semester, an award is given to the student that made their investments the most profitable. FirstLight Federal Credit Union is a proud sponsor of this initiative, as it teaches our youth the importance of investing.
