FirstLight Federal Credit Union helped support 11 year old Trey E. Cochran in his mission “Bobcat Fights to Stop Hunger", a food packaging event.
Trey E. Cochran, is an 11 year old 5th grader from Cielo Vista Elementary, who’s Humanitarian Project is named: "Bobcat Fights to Stop Hunger". Trey partnered with Numana, Inc., a Non-Profit 501(c)3 organization to help feed the hungry. On May 9, 2015, Trey hosted a food packaging event at the Cielo Vista Elementary Cafeteria and invited FLFCU and the community to help in his efforts to package meals and reach his goal of feeding 35,000 people. Trey raised $ 11,779.00 and packaged 40,392 meals at his event; to which all meals have been distributed in the El Paso area.
FirstLight FCU donated to Trey’s cause and employees donated their time to help package the meals for his mission. Trey is still in need of funds to further his mission, if you would like to help Trey exceed his goal, you can contact his grandmother at katgchacon@aol.com or visit his website link at:
