Credit Cards

What is a credit card, how does a credit card work?
A credit card is a type of payment card in which charges are made against a line of credit instead of your deposit accounts (checking and savings accounts). When you use a credit card to make a purchase, that line of credit account accrues a balance that must be paid off each month. If the balance accrued during the billing cycle is not paid off in full and on time, interest charges and late fees will be charged to the account. The line of credit is subject to credit qualification and approval.
