The Science of Saving:
April is Youth Month, in partnership with the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). FirstLight is encouraging young FirstLight members to picture themselves in the future and make saving easier.
FirstLight wants to encourage financial literacy in its youngest members by helping them focus on an optimistic and hopeful financial future full of awesome possibilities, and empower them to make it happen using "The Science of Saving."
FirstLight Federal Credit Union is giving away, on a first come first serve basis, "The Science of Saving" sports bags to families that open an account for their youngest members of the family throughout Youth Month in April.
Stop by one of our 10 branches in El Paso and Las Cruces the entire month of April, open a kids account, and your youngest member will receive a "The Science of Saving" sports bag, mood pencil and notebook.* (This is given on a first come, first served basis.)
FirstLight Federal Credit Union offers accounts with different features for different ages.
- Dollar Dog Kids Club (For Children Ages 0 to 12yrs) - Kids receive their very own ATM card at 8 yrs old so they can begin learning how to manage their money, plus they have access to an online Kids Club where they can play games, learn about saving, and just have some fun.
