FirstLight Federal Credit Union is a lender for student loans at UTEP http://www.utep.edu and EPCC http://www.epcc.edu. FirstLight works through a third party, Panhandle Plains, that processes student loan requests from our members. Loan applications should be made according to the universities' required process at the Financial Aid office. Students applying for a FirstLight student loan should use the lender code 819665. The respective university will determine eligibility.
